The gorse, with its bright yellow blossoms and unapologetically thorny branches, is nature’s quiet optimist. Its vivid flowers bloom year-round, adding splashes of colour even in the most windswept and rugged terrains. 

In this moss-toned wool, the surface recalls the depth of shaded forest ground—dense, soft, and composed. Its colour draws from the greens of ancient woodlands, from Central Europe to the Atlantic edges of Ireland and the Black Sea, where both symbol and craft find their origin. The texture holds a natural irregularity, catching light with subtle variation, lending the piece a sense of quiet movement.
