Rowan Tonal-Striped Silk Cushion, L
The forest's quiet guardian
Description
With its vibrant clusters of red pentagram-shaped berries and feathered leaves, the rowan stands as the quiet guardian of the forest, long associated with protection and a certain, enduring mystique.
Also known as the mountain ash, it thrives high along the mountainsides, often emerging from the most unlikely crevices—its presence both improbable and entirely self-assured.
Hand-loomed in Anatolia, this beige silk carries fine, rhythmic stripes in beige and earthy tones reminiscent of tree bark. As light moves across the surface, a soft lustre emerges and recedes, lending our hand-embroidered cushion a poised, luminous elegance.
In the Ogham alphabet, the rowan corresponds to the letter L.
