Najiyé brings our embroideries to life, from the finest lace to intricate metal-thread work, each stitch guided by patience, years of practice, and love for the craft. With nothing more than a needle and thread, she can conjure gardens or icicles, a quiet demiurge at work, from the comfort of her home. Erjan, one of the last old master craftsmen, sews every piece with exceptional precision and quiet care. Along the Black Sea coast, a handful of women continue the region's remarkable embroidery traditions, while in Denizli, skilled weavers produce our towels in a city that has been renowned for weaving for centuries. Together, they keep these increasingly rare techniques alive; they are true ARTisans. Every Bolka piece begins with their hands.
